Bethany Moratorium Extension Hearing [Genesee]

The Town Board received a proposal to extend the moratorium foe nine months. There will be a public meeting on the ninth of October to get the public comments and to act on the proposal.

Town of Bethany is indeed

Town of Bethany is indeed passing a nine-month extension of the original moratorium, with the blessing of the town's attorney. Don't know where that other BS came from (was sitting at both meetings).

Anyway, the wind committee has a draft report together and is finalizing details. That will give the planning board enough time to come up with reasonable, responsible zoning; have public hearings; etc. before making them official.
